It Can't Happen Here!

Brüka Theatre presents a play reading at the top of the 2011-2012 season on Monday night, October 24, 2011 at 7 PM.  Brüka joins theatres across the USA to read “It Can’t Happen Here,” celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Federal Theatre Project and its historical production of Sinclair Lewis' and John C. Hansel & Gretel
Brüka Theatre proudly presents Brüka's Theatre For Children. These live theatre performances incorporate physical theatrics, improvisation and audience interaction. These classic adaptations of tales by the Brothers Grimm update the stories for today’s audiences, while investigating and adapting the original stories of the Brothers Grimm, how they have been handed down by word of mouth from generation to generation until the Grimm Brother’s captured them in book form in the late 1800’s, and how it could be applied today. Brüka Theatre has been presenting live theatre for our community for 19 years.
